Fabulous Fourth Festival

For the seventh consecutive year, the Fabulous Fourth Festival will be held at the Georgia International Horse Park on Sunday, July 4 beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Highlights of the Fabulous Fourth include

  • Enjoy live entertainment on the Honda of Conyers stage throughout the evening with a military band concert presenting a live performance by the Georgia State Defense Force band and a performance by The Mike Rogers Band, an oldies band back by popular demand.
  • Honor those who have lost loved ones during war by attending a patriotic program on the Honda of Conyers stage at 7:00 p.m. honoring Gold Star Mothers and Wives with music by the Georgia State Defense Force Band
  • See high-flying action at the Ultimate Air Dog Show presented by Ingles and the Rockdale/Newton Citizen
  • Be a part of the 2010 Little Miss Conyers Competition and Princess Pageant.  The pageant takes place Sunday, July 4th in the Carriage Room at the Georgia International Horse Park.  Pageant winners will be announced on the Honda of Conyers stage at 6:30PM during the festival.
  • Design your own patriotic brick at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Park "Walk of Heroes" booth
  • Visit the information booth and sign the "Thank You" banner that will be sent to the 48th Brigade of the Georgia National Guard serving in Afghanistan
  • Choose your favorite Corvette at the Corvettes in the Park Car Show or your favorite Japanese car at the Nostalgic Japanese Street Fighters Car Show
  • Meet Gomer Pyle or Barney Fife with Memories of Mayberry
  • Enter the festival drawing for a chance to win a Family 4-Pack to the Big Haynes Creek Wildlife Festival or tickets to the Georgia Aquarium
  • Enjoy shopping among unique vendor booths and business displays
  • Children of all ages can ride the miniature outdoor railroad provided by the North Georgia Live Steamers
  • Play on one of the many activities like the moonwalk, enjoy games and more.
  • Marvel at a large fireworks display that will begin at dark
  • Check out our event setup map so you'll know which attraction you want to visit first!
  • Best of all - it's FREE!  Enjoy free parking and admission to the event starting at 5 p.m.

There will be no charge for admission to the event, and parking is also free, however some fees may apply for various children's activities.

Blankets and lawn chairs are allowed into the event for prime fireworks-viewing comfort.  Come celebrate our nation's independence at the Georgia International Horse Park, only 28 miles east of Atlanta!

Directions to The Fabulous Fourth at the Georgia International Horse Park:
Take Exit 82 off Interstate 20 in Conyers. Travel North approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto Centennial Olympic Parkway. The main entrance to the Park is 2 miles ahead on the right.

An alternative route to the Park is via Salem Road (Exit 84) off Interstate 20.  Take Exit 84 and travel North approximately 1 mile.  At Gees Mill Road, turn right and the Georgia International Horse Park Gate A is 2.5 miles on the right.  To continue to the main gate (Gate C), continue past Gate A and turn right at the stop sign onto Centennial Olympic Parkway.  The main entrance will be on your right.
