31st Annual Olde Town Fall Festival

About the Olde Town Fall Festival
The Olde Town Fall Festival began as a fundraiser for the Rockdale County Historical Society and other local non-profit organizations, clubs artists and crafters in 1980. The historical society's mission is to preserve the past of Conyers and Rockdale County and this festival was a way to raise funds to do just that.
The festival has grown and changed over the years and at the conclusion of the 2007 festival, historical society members approached the City of Conyers about taking over all aspects of the festival that has become a fall tradition in Olde Town Conyers.
And so the tradition continues! We hope you'll join us in late October for this fun, fall family event in Olde Town Conyers.

Scarecrow Gardens Competition
When you think of fall and fun, scarecrows come to mind! What better way to celebrate fall than with your friends, church, civic group, business or neighborhood association by building a scarecrow for a unique competition? The Conyers Main Street Foundation and the Reserve Unit of the Conyers Police Department have teamed up to bring a lighthearted display of art to Olde Town while raising funds for the Conyers Police Reserve Unit, a non-profit volunteer division of the Conyers Police Department.
The scarecrows entered in the competition will be on display in the Lewis Vaughn Botanical Gardens, or for this occasion, Scarecrow Gardens, in the heart of Olde Town where the public will vote for first, second and third place scarecrows all while raising funds for the Conyers Police Auxiliary and Reserve Unit. The entry fee per scarecrow is only $25.00. For more information, call 770-602-2606 or complete and send in the application.
The Scarecrow Competition Application is now available! We look forward to you or your organization's participation.
